Leo en una de mis revistas de moda de cabecera: "Nuevo. Igual a flamante, fabuloso y tan atractivo que resulta irresistible. Adoro el adjetivo, protagonista de la portada de mayo, porque define esa sensación tan placentera, mezcla de vértigo y deseo, que acompaña al hecho de estrenar".

¡Touché! Estas palabras definen a la perfección lo que siento vistiendo uno de mis nuevos looks de temporada. Y le sumaría: "Feliz. Como una niña con zapatos nuevos. Los de EVA VS MARÍA que obviamente también estreno hoy".

My new look

I'm reading one of my magazines' headlines: New. Just as smart, fabulous and so attractive that it seems to be irresistible. I adore the adjective, it stands out on the May front cover, because it defines this so very pleasurable feeling, a mixture of giddiness and desire, which accompanies the act of wearing something brand new".

Touché! These words sum up perfectly how I feel when wearing one of my new looks every season. And I would add to that: "Happy. Like a little girl with new shoes. The ones by EVA VS MARÍA which I'm obviously also debuting today".

El pasado 18 de abril acudí a un evento muy especial en JC Apotecari. La amable Véronique de Atelier Cologne, mi firma de colonia desde hace meses, nos trajo directamente desde París una linotipia portátil para personalizar las fundas de cuero de Atelier Cologne. ¡Un detalle precioso! A cinco días para celebrar Sant Jordi, el día Internacional del Libro, las nuevas 'eau de parfum' que nos presentó Véronique, junto con el pequeño frasco de colonia con la funda de cuero personalizada que las acompañaba, resultaron un regalo perfecto para celebrar la 'diada'.

On 18^th April I attended a very special event at JC Apotecari. The lovely Véronique from Atelier Cologne, my go-to perfume brand for months, brought us – straight from Paris a portable linotype for personalising the leather cases of Atelier Cologne. What a gorgeous little gift! Five days before celebrating Saint George's Day, which is World Book Day, the new 'eau de parfum' that Véronique presented to us, along with the small bottle of perfume with its personalised leather case which accompanied them, seemed to be the perfect present in order to celebrate the 'diada' (which is like a Catalan Saint Valentine's Day).

Véronique nos habló del amor por la legendaria perfumería clásica que le profesan Sylvie Ganter y Christopher Cervasel, creadores de la casa de fragancias, y nos mostró pacientemente toda la colección.

Véronique talked to us about her love for the legendary classic perfume maker, which made a name for Sylvie Ganter and Christopher Cervasel, the creators of the perfume house, and she patiently showed us the whole collection.

Con permiso de Rose Anonyme, elegí Bois Blonds. A fecha de hoy se ha convertido en nuestra colonia de cabecera, y digo nuestra, porque la comparto con Gorka. ¡Nos encanta su olor! Hablo de maderas e inciensos mezclados con la flor del naranjo y vetiver. Resulta extremadamente ligera y refrescante, ideal para acompañar la primavera.

With Rose Anonyme's permission, I chose Bois Blonds. As of today it has become our top perfume, and I say ours, because I am sharing it with Gorka. We love its smell! I'm talking about a perfume with woody and incense notes blended with orange blossom and vetiver. It turns out to be extremely light and refreshing, which is ideal to accompany the spring.

Nos acompañó Patricia Sañés, siempre un lujo, y ngels Pijuan, propietaria de JC Apotecari, a quien avasallo a preguntas cada vez que la veo. Gracias. Con ganas de repetir.

A veces apetece romper la formalidad

Definitivamente esta temporada estoy apostando por las camisetas. Me gustan con mensajes y estampaciones, son fáciles de combinar, divertidas, algunas descaradas, y lo mejor, rejuvenecen y rompen la formalidad.

La que llevo pertenece a la firma Sheinside. Me gusta el tamaño maxi de las letras y su caída. Me la he puesto con mis short rotos, desgastados y viejos de Zara, con mis nuevos pantalones de Reiko y, hoy, con esta preciosa falda de Zara.

Ah, a todas las mamis, ¡felicidades! Mejor tarde que nunca. Quiero agradecer al equipo de Tous el precioso collar que me mandaron para celebrar el día de la madre. ¡No me lo quito! Me encanta tal cual lo llevo hoy, combinado con el collar Celia de Nuna Bascón chapado en oro. Mi mamá me mima, y Tous mima a las mamás. Gracias.

Sometimes we fancy taking a break from formality

Definitely this season I am going for t-shirts. I like them with messages and prints, they are easy to combine, they're fun, some of them are cheeky, and at times, they rejuvenate and take a break from formality of our everyday lives.

The one that I'm wearing belongs to the brand Sheinside. I like the maxi size of the letters and how it falls. I've put it on with my worn-out, old, distressed shorts by Zara, with my new trousers by Reiko and, today, with this lovely skirt by Zara.

Ah, to all the mums out there, congratulations! Better late than never. I want to thank the team at Tous for the lovely necklace they sent me in order to celebrate Mother's Day. I won't take it off! I love just how I'm wearing it today, combined with the gold-plated Celia necklace by Nuna Bascón. My mum spoils me, and Tous spoils mums. Thank you.

Yes, girls. I was left wanting more from last Monday's publication: wanting more as in to comment on the letter of the month of May from Benedetta and to go over what's new once again.

Laura Somoza writes: "Have you got any change? The same old basics are being taken over by a new generation of essential items in our wardrobes."

Let's review them. The studded look is the new beading; black & blue es el nuevo black & white; maxi-jewellery pieces are the new diamonds; the leather jacket is the new blazer; the casual bag is the new clutch: sneakers are the new stilettos; masculine is the new feminine; slippers are the new ballerina pumps; leather is the new denim: and brights the new black. Ready!.. And worn out too.

Sí, quiero. En contadas ocasiones pronuncio con firmeza estas dos palabras, porque hay invitaciones que una no puede desmerecer. Os cuento.

Yes, I do. On few occasions have I uttered these two words, because there are invitations that one cannot devalue. Let me explain.

El pasado domingo 14 de abril de 2013 acudí en 'petit comité' a la presentación de la colección PV 2013 de la firma Pretty Ballerinas. ¿Dónde? En la tienda que tiene la firma en el exclusivo Hotel Arts de Barcelona. ¡Irresistible! Soy chica 'pretty' desde sus inicios. Acompañándome, Patricia de Coolhunter Diary, Eli de Lost in Vogue, Xenia de Barcelonette y Anna de Miss Nobody. Un domingo de chicas, fantástico.

One Sunday 14th April 2013 I attended, in a small group, the presentation of the SS 2013 collection by the brand Pretty Ballerinas. Where? It was in the shop which the brand has exclusively in the Hotel Arts in Barcelona. Irresistible! I have been a pretty girl ever since its inception. Accompanying me are Patricia from Coolhunter Diary, Eli from Lost in Vogue, Xenia from Barcelonette and Anna from Miss Nobody. A girlie weekend, how fantastic!

La recepción fue todo un lujo. Tuve el placer de conocer a la encantadora diseñadora Úrsula Mascaró que junto a Quique Díaz, responsable de comunicación de Pretty Ballerinas y a quien personalmente ya conocía un encanto, también, nos presentaron la nueva colección PV 2013. Colores pastel y flúor, estampados arabescos y animales, flores, rayas, tonos metálicos y un largo etcétera protagonizan una preciosa colección realizada en napa, ante, charol, raso, encaje, lentejuelas y purpurina. ¡Pura tentación! Y cómo no, caímos... Las mías, en purpurina dorada, y a brillar.

The reception was a real luxury. I had the pleasure of meeting the charming designer Úrsula Mascaró who, along with Quique Díaz, who I had already met in person he's also lovely-, are the Communications Managers for Pretty Ballerinas, and they presented the new SS 2013 collection to us. Pastel and fluorescent colours, arabesque and animal prints, flowers, metallic tones and a long etcetera play a starring role in a lovely collection that's made of leather, suede, patent leather, satin, lace, sequins and glitter. Pure temptation! And of course, we gave in to it... My ones, in gold glitter, show it's time to shine.

Acto seguido, esperándonos pacientemente con unas sonrisas impagables os lo aseguro, Nils y Melanie, responsables de comunicación del Hotel Arts, que nos mostraron algunos de los rincones más exclusivos del hotel. Entre ellos, el Club Level, un área reservada de la planta 30 a la 33 con un sofisticado salón con espectaculares vistas al mar. ¡Úrsula y yo nos moríamos de la envidia! Nos explicaron que sus clientes disponen de cinco presentaciones de comida cada día, cava y copas 'free of charge', y de servicios exclusivos como el uso de Smarts eléctricos, 'Cocktail Master Class' y un "Cava Concierge" para aprender a elegir entre una amplia variedad de cavas, en función de sus gustos y preferencias. Lujazo absoluto.

Como a Benedetta, me gusta la autenticidad

Y repito. A mí también me gusta el helado de chocolate y las mujeres imperfectas. Sí, chicas, estoy leyendo la carta de mayo de Benedetta Poletti, directora de ELLE.

Siempre positiva, escribe, "Saber reírse de una misma, reconocer pequeñas debilidades y verse imperfecta siempre me ha parecido una señal de gran inteligencia". Y sigue, "A mí me gustan las mujeres imperfectas. Será que me veo reflejada en ellas". Como yo, Benedetta.

Un número que repasa qué hay de nuevo esta primavera y arranca con las tachuelas.

Like Benedetta, I like authenticity

And I repeat. I also like chocolate ice cream and imperfect women. Yes, girls, I'm reading the letter for May by Benedetta Poletti, the Director of ELLE.

Positive as ever, she writes, "Knowing how to laugh at yourself, to recognise small weaknesses and to consider yourself imperfect has always seemed like a sign of great intelligence to me". Eva es el contoneo, y María, la melodía

Detrás del título de hoy se esconde la diseñadora Eva María Bazán, creadora de la marca de calzado para mujer EVA VS. MARIA, diseñado en Barcelona y producido en Elda, España.

Exalumna del IED Barcelona Escola Superior de Disseny repetimos, de buena escuela y valiente, imprescindible en los tiempos que corren, se graduó en Diseño de Moda en julio de 2007: "Siempre he querido buscar una alternativa a la moda textil femenina, me encanta patronar y diseñar ropa, pero es complicado. Con mis orígenes presentes mi familia tiene un taller de pequeña marroquinería masculina en Ubrique, fue lógico enfocar mis estudios en el IED Barcelona realizando trabajos de moda masculina."

Behind today's title lies the designer Eva María Bazán, who is the creator of the women's footwear brand EVA VS. MARIA, designed in Barcelona and manufactured in Elda, Spain.

An ex-student of IED Barcelona Escola Superior de Disseny once again, she is well educated and brave, as is essential given the times in which we live -, she graduated in Fashion Design in July 2007: "I've always wanted to look for an alternative to women's textile fashion, I love making patterns and designing clothes, but it is complicated. With my own background – my family have a small leather goods shop for men in Ubrique-, it was logical to focus my studies at IED Barcelona on doing work related to menswear.

Finalista en Moda FAD y en My Own Show Milán, donde ganó el primer premio, y varios meses de prácticas en Michiko y trabajando como visual para una conocida marca de ropa en Londres, le sirvieron para encontrar su verdadera vocación: diseñar calzado femenino. "Cuando volví de Londres encontré mi verdadera vocación. Comencé a trabajar en Armand Basi como diseñadora junior de calzado femenino. Aprendí mucho, me enriquecí con conocimientos y contactos para, un tiempo después, lanzar mi propia marca de calzado femenino. Después de Armand Basi trabajé en Lupo como diseñadora de bolsos y marroquinería supliendo la baja de la actual directora creativa. Los tiempos empezaban a ser duros, se comenzaba a notar la crisis, yo no acababa de encontrar estabilidad en ningún trabajo, así que, bajo el consejo y apoyo de mi familia decidí lanzar mi propia marca de calzado haciendo uso de todos los contactos que había adquirido."

As a finalist at Moda FAD and at My Own Show Milan, where she won first prize, and several months of work experience at Michiko and doing job-shadowingfor a well-known clothing brand in London, this served to help her find her true vocation: designing women's footwear. "When I came back from London I found my true calling. I started working at Armand Basi as a junior women's footwear designer. I learned a lot, I enriched myself with skills and contacts in order to, later down the line, launch my own brand of women's footwear. After Armand Basi I worked at Lupo as a handbags and leather goods designer substituting for their current Creative Director's leave. Times started to get tough, the recession was starting to show its face, and I hadn't managed to find stability at any job yet, therefore, following my family's advice and backing I decided to launch my own brand of footwear making use of all the contacts which I had acquired."

Hoy EVA VS. MARIA cumple 3 años. Con 3 colecciones en la calle y presencia en varias ciudades españolas y en Berlín, actualmente la firma está desarrollando la colección PV 2014 para presentarla por primera vez en París, en la feria europea Premire Classe dedicada al mundo de los accesorios de moda: "Estoy muy ilusionada; pienso que es lo que necesita la marca para seguir adelante. Además incremento familia y aprovecho la feria para lanzar la nueva línea de complementos, bolsos y carteras de EVA VS. MARIA, hechos en Ubrique. Estoy feliz y muy contenta de volver a mi pueblo para trabajar."

Today EVA VS. MARIA is turning 3 years old. With 3 Collections on the high street and with a presence in several Spanish cities and Berlin, the firm is currently developing its SS 2014 collection which will be presented for the first time in Paris, at the European trade fair Premire Classe which is dedicated to the world of fashion accessories: "I'm very excited; I think that this is what the brand needs to keep going. In addition I'm increasing my family and taking advantage of the fair to launch the new line of fashion accessories, handbags and wallets by EVA VS. MARIA, which are made in Ubrique. I am happy and very content about returning to my town to work."

Geometría, sencillez y color definen todas sus colecciones hasta la fecha. "No busco temas de inspiración concretos, ni desarrollo una idea diferente cada temporada. Tengo mi propio método de trabajo. Sigo una geometría sutil que equilibra los diseños y me permite combinar colores dispares de manera armónica. Esa es la base de mi trabajo."

Ilusión, buena formación, mucho trabajo y perseverancia... No es la fórmula mágica, pero sí una buena base.

Eva es el contoneo, y María, la melodía...

Geometry, simplicity and colour define all their collections to date. "I don't look for specific themes of inspiration, nor develop a different idea every season. I have my own working method. I stick to subtle geometry that balances the designs and allows me to combine different colours in a harmonic way. This is the foundation of my work."

Leo en su web: "De añadir a extraer. De la cerámica a la escultura y, dando un paso más, a la joyería. De la grandeza a la delicadeza de las cosas pequeñas..." Así empieza la biografía de la escultora y diseñadora de joyas Pilar Mars. Precioso, diría yo; casi poético. Esculpe pequeñas piezas de madera, el material que más le gusta trabajar, creando joyas modernas, como tesoros arrebatados a la naturaleza, como las llama ella. Colgantes, brazaletes, broches y líticos realizados con maderas y metales conforman una preciosa colección que entronca directamente con la naturaleza, con la simplicidad aparente de sus formas puras y accidentales.

Me enamoré de sus pulseras de amarante las que llevo hoy, y le sumé la de plata. Les siguieron las de roble ya me las veréis y algún que otro colgante. Me gusta la calidez y la nobleza de sus maderas, tocarlas y sentirlas.

The delicacy of small things: Pilar Mars
Leo said on his website: "From adding to subtracting. From pottery to sculptures and, going one step further, to jewellery. From grandness to the delicacy of small things...". That's how the biography by the sculptor and jewellery designer Pilar Mars begins. It's lovely in my opinion, almost poetic. She sculpts small pieces of Wood, the material that she likes working with most, creating modern jewellery, like treasures snatched from nature, as she calls them. Necklaces, bracelets, broaches and lithic stones made of wood and metals, make up a lovely collection that is directly linked to nature, with the apparent simplicity of their pure and accidental shapes.

I fell in love with her amaranth bracelets which I am wearing today and I have added the silver one too. They were followed by the oak ones as you can see and some necklaces. I like the warmth and the nobility of her wooden pieces, touching them and feeling them.

Recientemente leía "Prevenir antes que curar": es la clave básica en las terapias 'anti-aging'. Lo sabemos, aunque muchas veces lo obviamos. Muchas son las que, agobiadas por el saco de obligaciones que llevan a cuestas a diario, deciden relajarse sin recordar que presente y futuro están unidos. Lo que no hagamos hoy tiene consecuencias mañana.

Yo ya me he puesto manos a la obra. ¿Mis retos? Ser fiel al masaje facial de tratamiento Kobido, antioxidantes y preparar la piel para el bronceado. Muchos deberes.

Recently I was reading that "Prevention is better than cure": it is the basic key in anti-aging therapies. We know it, although very often we get around it. Many of us fall into the bracket of those who, overwhelmed by the piles of obligations that weigh us down on a daily basis, decide to relax without remembering that the present and future are connected. What we don't do today has consequences tomorrow.

I have already got down to business. What are my challenges? Being a devotee of the Kobido facial massage treatment, antioxidants and preparing my skin for tanning. That's a lot of homework.

Empezamos. Mi último descubrimiento: el masaje facial Kobido. ¡Espectacular, chicas! Es un 'lifting' manual que persigue estimular la musculatura, así como la oxigenación del tejido subcutáneo y de la 'fascia'. Consigue proporcionar tersura y unos rasgos más distendidos. Coloquialmente, nos quita los rasgos de enfurruñamiento. El resultado después de 30 minutos es una piel más confortable, vital y regenerada.

Su protocolo. Importante: desmaquillan y limpian la piel suavemente. A continuación, exponen la piel al vapor durante 10 minutos a la vez que la van exfoliando y aplican muselinas calientes para retirar los restos de producto. En ese momento, empiezan con el masaje facial de tratamiento Kobido. Trabajan primero media cara y después la otra media (15 minutos en cada lado) masajeando la piel con manipulaciones ascendentes para reafirmar. Durante el masaje realizan también técnicas de digitopuntura y drenaje linfático. Finalmente, aplican una mascarilla durante 10 minutos y proceden al masaje de escote y pies. Retiran la mascarilla y aplican el tratamiento facial indicado para cada mujer. ¡Un gustazo!

Let's start. My latest discovery: the Kobido facial massage. It's spectacular, girls! It acts like a manual "facelift" which aims to stimulate the musculature, as if it were delivering an oxygenation of the subcutaneous tissue and the "fascia". It is able to provide smoothness and more rested features. In plain English, it gets rid of our frown lines. The result after 30 minutes is comfortable, regenerated skin that's full of vitality.

Its regime. Important: your makeup is removed and the skin is cleansed gently. After that, the skin is exposed to steam for 10 minutes and at the same time it is exfoliated then warm muslin cloths are applied in order to remove the leftover product. Then it's time to begin the Kobido facial massage. They work on one half of the face first and then the other half (15 minutes on each side) massaging the skin with upward motions in order to firm it up. During the massage digipoint therapy and lymphatic drainage techniques are also employed. Finally, a mask is applied for 10 minutes and then they move on to the bust area and feet. The mask is removed and they apply the best facial treatment depending on the woman's needs. What a great pleasure!

My third challenge: To prepare my skin for tanning. This year I have put myself in the brand Institut Esthederm's hands.

We're working on the principle that the sun doesn't just have harmful effects. Good. UV inCellium Spray Auto-protecteur Cellulaire. It is a spray that I use every day in order to avoid the inflammation and premature aging associated with sun exposure and environmental factors. It helps to improve the self-defence ability of my skin against the sun. When protected, the skin optimises its functions. Firstly I apply my usual facial cosmetics, and then I finish off with the spray. I walk around the city a lot so I have to protect myself.

UV inCellium Spray Bronzant. Es un spray para rostro y cuerpo, pero yo lo utilizo únicamente en el cuerpo. Es un tratamiento preparador para el bronceado que además refuerza la protección natural de la piel. Está indicado para cualquier piel que pueda y quiera broncearse, con índices UV suaves. No contiene filtros ni pantallas, por lo que para una exposición prolongada o a una radiación intensa deberá usarse asociado a un protector solar.

Lo utilizo a diario, me lo aplico después de mi tratamiento corporal habitual. Me lo recomendaron para tener un bronceado más duradero, reducir los riesgos de reacciones cutáneas y aumentar el capital de bronceado de mi piel.

UV inCellium Spray Bronzant. It is a spray for the face and body, but I only use it for my body. It's a preparative treatment for tanning which, in addition, reinforces the skin's natural protection. It can be used for all skin types that are able to or wish to be tanned, with gentle UV factors. It doesn't contain any filters or sunscreen, so for prolonged exposure or intense radiation it must be used as well as some sun cream.

I use it on a daily basis; I apply it after my usual body treatment. It was recommended to me in order to have a longer lasting tan, to reduce the risks of cutaneous reactions and to increase my skin's tanning potential.

Stick Nutri-Protecteur. Mi imprescindible para las manchas pigmentarias. Es una base emoliente y reestructurante. Es apto para todo tipo de piel en exposiciones a cualquier intensidad de radiación. Resiste al agua y a la transpiración. Voy con él a todas partes.

Importante chicas. Cada tipo de piel y exposición solar precisa un producto determinado. Os recomiendo informaros correctamente y consultar con profesionales.

Salud, bienestar y belleza. Insisto: las buenas rutinas y hábitos nos ayudan a envejecer mejor.

Nutri-Protecteur Stick. My must have for hyper pigmentation. It's an emollient and restructuring base. It can be used on all skin types that are exposed to any intensity of radiation. It is water and perspiration resistant. I take it with me wherever I go.

Important girls: Every skin type and sun exposure requires a specific product. I recommend that you are correctly informed and ask the experts.

Corta e intensa. Así viví mi ya añorada Semana Santa. Celebraciones varias, familiares y no, y una entrada muy especial con fiesta de cumpleaños incluida. Puntualicemos: la mía, no.

Hoy nuevamente me visto por y para vosotras. Obviamente es un look de noche. Lo llevé hará unos días, de cena, y francamente me parecía una lástima no compartirlo.

Es especial y excesivo en 'paillettes', y eso es lo que más me gusta. La chaqueta y la blusa pertenecen a la colección OI 2012 de Pinko; curiosamente, no encontré el momento para fotografiarlo. El resto, PV 2013. Los pendientes y el bolso, de LAURA B; las sandalias, de IT SHOES, y los anillos, de SATELLITE PARIS. Piezas que tienen por delante un largo recorrido.

¿La manicura? Total. Adhesivos dorados con efecto espejo. En los pies, una propuesta de Yas Meftah, elegante y atrevida, contrastando el dorado con el negro. ¡Increíble!

Happy, happy... to you!

Short and intense. That's how my much longed for Easter break was. Several celebrations, family and non-family ones, and a very special invitation with a birthday party included. Just for the record: it wasn't for me.

Today once again I have dressed myself especially for all of you. Obviously it is a night time look. I wore it a few days ago, for a dinner, and it frankly seemed a shame not to share it.

It is special and excessive with paillette sequins, and this is what I like most. The jacket and the blouse belong to the AW 2012 collection by Pinko; for some reason, I didn't find a time to photograph it. The rest is from SS 2013. The earrings and the handbag, by LAURA B; the sandals, by IT SHOES, and the rings, by SATELLITE PARIS. They're pieces that have a long life ahead of them.

The manicure? Full-on. Gold mirror-effect stickers. On my toes, a look by Yas Meftah, they're elegant and bold, contrasting gold and black. Incredible!

Mire donde mire veo flores. Protagonizando la portada de marzo de ELLE, bordadas en un precioso vestido de satén de Prada que luce Rianne Ten Haken fotografiada por Xavi Gordo. Paso página y me encuentro las de Dior, luciendo espléndidas en un maravilloso bouquet de tulipanes y rosas. Le siguen Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Etro actualizando el 'total look' floral y un largo etcétera que suma y sigue. Puro preciosismo y color.

Y sin pretenderlo, os lo aseguro, este fin de semana he encontrado las mías estampando esta blusa de seda de Paul Smith.

Not one; I want a thousand flowers!

Whichever way I look I see flowers. Starring on the March ELLE front cover, they are embroidered on a lovely satin dress by Prada which is worn by Rianne Ten Haken photographed by Xavi Gordo. I turn the page and I come across the Dior ones, being shown off in a wonderful bouquet of tulips and roses. They are followed by Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Etro updating the "total floral look" and a long etcetera that goes on and on. Pure lovliness and colour.

And without trying to, I can sure you, this weekend I have found mine printed on this silk blouse by Paul Smith.

No sigo la tendencia a raja tabla, lo sabéis, pero esta temporada definitivamente me sumo al 'vintage'. Me gusta encontrar tesoros atemporales de décadas anteriores ,-convertidos en clásicos-, y mezclarlos con prendas de rabiosa actualidad. Y aquí empieza hoy mi pequeña historia.

Hace unos meses conocí la marca Bob Sdrunk, gafas 'Made in Italy' de estilo retro con una gama de colores francamente divertida. ¡Me encantó!. Especialmente el modelo Malcolm. La firma me propuso diseñar un tipo de acetato único. Interesante, y todo un reto. Elegí tonos similares al cuerno, -clásico y elegante-, pero con un 'twist': cada gafa Bob Sdrunk Limited Edition by Mariona Planas sería única, -no existen dos acetatos iguales en la confección de la Edición Limitada-. ¿El resultado? Una gafa exclusiva y original, una pequeña parte de mí acompañando vuestras miradas.

Hoy tengo el placer de presentárosla. Espero que la esencia del 'British Heritage' mezclada con el 'Italian Design', característicos de Bob Sdrunk, os enamore tanto como a mí.

I don't follow trends religiously, as you know, but this season I am definitely going for vintage. I like finding timeless treasures from previous decades that have turned into classics and mixing them with garments that are the very latest fashions. And here is where today's story begins.

A few months ago I came across the brand Bob Sdrunk, sunglasses that were made in Italy and retro-style in a really fun range of colours. I loved it! Especially the Malcolm model. The brand suggested I design a unique type of acetate. It was interesting, and a real challenge. I chose tones that were similar to horn classic and elegant but with a twist: each pair Bob Sdrunk Limited Edition by Mariona Planas glasses would be unique, – two identical acetates don't exist as they are made as Limited Editions. The result? A pair of exclusive and original sunglasses, a small part of me is accompanying your gazes.

Today I have the pleasure of presenting it to you. I hope that the essence of its British Heritage mixed with the Italian Design, that are characteristic of Bob Sdrunk, have you as hooked as I am.

Bob, de madre italiana y padre australiano, paseando por el barrio de Tribeca en Nueva York se enamoró del estilo de las gafas 'vintage'. Allí decidió crear su propia marca: Bob Sdrunk... y hasta la fecha. Actualmente, la marca lanza dos colecciones anuales en las principales ferias independientes de moda y accesorios internacionales y se distribuye únicamente en puntos exclusivos de venta seleccionados por su 'choix original'.

Bob, who has an Italian mother and whose father is Australian, while wandering around the Tribeca neighbourhood in New York fell in love with the vintage style of the sunglasses. It was there that he decided to create his own brand: Bob Sdrunk... and the rest is history. At present, the brand is launching two annual collections in the main international independent fashion and accessories fairs and it is being distributed solely to exclusive points of sale that are selected by his 'choix original'.

Hoss Intropia PV 2013

El pasado 28 de febrero asistimos a la inauguración de la nueva Flagship Store de Hoss Intropia en Barcelona, reubicada en el Paseo de Gracia 89.

La tienda, una de las más grandes y espectaculares de las que dispone la firma en todo el mundo, cuenta con 550 metros cuadrados repartidos en tres plantas con varios escaparates y mucha luz, y su decoración contribuye a recrear el espíritu de la marca a través de elementos neutros y simples. Nos gustó, y mucho.

Para la ocasión, me invitaron a elegir un diseño de su nueva colección PV 2013 inspirada en la mítica ciudad de "Atlantis", el Pop Art, la geometría abstracta, el 'colorful' y el Miami Cool. Fácil, pensaréis. ¡Va a ser que no! Me gustaron muchas prendas y, además, todas ellas encajaban con mi estilo. Destacaría las siluetas fluidas realizadas con sedas, tules bordados y satenes, contrastando con los vestidos sesenteros de silueta trapecio y colores intensos como el limón, rojo, marfil o negro. Le sumaría las prendas realizadas con estampados geométricos y gráficos que se recreaban en color 'block' y en atrevidas combinaciones de rayas y líneas, y un largo etcétera. Finalmente, tras superar los estampados de mariposas, las pinceladas de acuarela y los lunares, elegí este precioso vestido en color 'nude', híper femenino y con una caída maravillosa, al que le daré mucho uso esta nueva temporada y con el que mis nuevas sandalias joya de Miu Miu formarán pareja.

Lo pasamos francamente bien. Hoss Intropia cuidó y mimó hasta el último detalle. Entre ellos, elegir el impecable bufé de "Anima", uno de mis favoritos de la ciudad condal. ¡Bravo, y gracias!

Hoss Intropia SS 2013
On 28th February we attended the opening of the new Flagship Store of Hoss Intropia in Barcelona, relocated to 89 Paseo de Gracia.

The shop, which is one of the brand's biggest and most spectacular ones around the world, is 550 metres squared divided into three floors with several window displays and plenty of light, and its decoration contributes towards recreating the spirit of the brand via neutral and simple items. We liked it a lot.

For the occasion, they invited me to choose a design from their new SS collection inspired by the mythical city of "Atlantis", Pop Art, abstract geometry, colourful style and Miami Cool. Easy, you may think. Well it certainly isn't! I liked a lot of garments and, in addition, all of them fit my style. I would highlight the fluid silhouettes made from silk, embroidered tulle and satin, contrasting with the sixties style dresses with empire cuts and intense colours like lemon, red, ivory or black. I would add the items of clothing that are made with geometric prints and graphics which recreate the colour block look and in daring combinations of stripes and lines, and a long etcetera. Finally, having overcome the butterfly prints, the aquarelle brushstrokes and the polka dots, I chose this lovely dress in the nude shade – it's ber-feminine and it falls marvellously and I'll get a lot of use out of it this new season and along with my new jewel sandals by Miu Miu they will make a couple.

We really had fun. Hoss Intropia took care of and paid attention to every last detail. Among them, was the choice of the impeccable buffet by "Anima", which is one of my favourites in Barcelona. Bravo and thank you!

Y finalmente llegó el gran día. ¡Para mí lo es! Cuando decidí abrir esta nueva sección de belleza, mi máxima fue, y sigue siendo, la honestidad. Por el respeto que siento por la cosmética en general, que siempre me ha fascinado, y por insistir en esa línea de edición veraz y real que siempre he defendido.

Sepai es mi línea de cosmética corporal desde el pasado mes de diciembre de 2012. ¿Qué la diferencia de la cosmética habitual? Es cosmética de tratamiento. Os cuento. Su línea trabaja en la salud de la piel. Por ello, los productos no son de efecto inmediato: actúan en las causas que están haciendo que la piel envejezca, no en los síntomas. Por ejemplo: si nos doliera la cabeza, Paola Gugliotta y Roxana Chang, co-founders de Sepai, no nos darían una aspirina para quitarnos el dolor de cabeza. Buscarían tratar las causas que nos producen el dolor de cabeza para que no volviéramos a sufrirlo.

And finally the big day arrived. For me it is! When I decided to open this new section of beauty, my motto was, and still is, honesty. Due to the respect I feel for cosmetics in general, which have always fascinated me, and for insisting on this tried and tested edition of the line that I have supported.

Sepai has been my line of body cosmetics since last December 2012. What is the difference between it and usual cosmetics? They are cosmetics for treatments. Let me explain. Their line works on the health of the skin. Therefore, the products are not of immediate effect: they act on the causes that are making the skin age, not on the symptoms. For example: if we had a headache, Paola Gugliotta and Roxana Chang, co-founders of Sepai, would not give us an aspirin to get rid of the pain. They would try to treat the causes that have produced the headache so that we wouldn't suffer from it again.
Su línea de Recuperación Molecular Inteligente⁵ (RMI⁵) ha conseguido que por primera vez en muchos años me olvide del picor y las rojeces que sufría en pleno invierno. Doy fe de la eficacia del tratamiento preventivo, recuperador y emergente que estoy utilizando.

Its line of "Inteligent⁵ Molecular Recovery" (RMI⁵) has managed to, for the first time in many years, make me forget the stinging sensation and the redness that I suffered in the middle of Winter. I attest to the effectiveness of the cutting edge preventative, recovery treatment that I am using.

As always, for those of you who are considering it, take good notes:
1. Basic V1.3 Polyvalent Cleansing / Massage Balm. Es mi gel limpiador oleoso. Se aplica sobre la piel seca masajeando en rostro y cuerpo, eliminando las impurezas y aportando grandes niveles de nutrición a la piel. El fluido libera lípidos encapsulados que al entrar en contacto con el agua se convierten en una rica crema limpiadora que actúa como bálsamo purificante y regenerante gracias a los aceites de karité, almendras y onagra. Como no contiene surfactantes sintéticos permite limpiar la piel sin debilitar el manto hidrolipídico.

Reconozco que al principio me costó cambiar mis hábitos. Entrar en la ducha y, en seco, aplicarme el gel no era santo de mi devoción, pero al sentir la piel mucho más hidratada y calmada, no lo dudé. A veces lo alterno con el gel de geranio de Asop. Es la pura verdad.

1. Basic V1.3 Polyvalent Cleansing / Massage Balm. It is my oily cleansing gel. It is applied to dry skin by massaging the face and body, eliminating impurities and providing high levels of nutrition to the skin. The fluid releases encapsulated lipids that on being in contact with water turn into a rich cleansing cream that acts as a purifying and regenerating balm thanks to the Shea butter, almond and evening primrose oils. As it does not contain synthetic surfactants it means you can clean the skin without weakening the hydrolipidic barrier.

I recognize that at the beginning I found it difficult to change my habits. Getting into the shower and, on dry skin, applying the gel was not my cup of tea, but on feeling my skin much more moisturised and calmer, I didn't hesitate. Sometimes I alternate it with the geranium gel by Asop. That's the whole truth.
2.RMI⁵V6.1 Body extract. Es el primer producto que utilizo después de la ducha. Es un suero oleoso concentrado de absorción inmediata y acabado seco y luminoso, para brazos, pecho, abdomen, muslos y piernas. Está formulado con activos de alta tecnología que trabajan en profundidad los factores causantes del envejecimiento fisiológico y metabólico, cuya sinergia garantiza las 5 acciones del tratamiento RMI⁵ (longevidad y recarga de energía celular, activación de proteínas, consolidación del tejido y defensa medioambiental). Combate la deshidratación, flacidez y estrías, el fotoenvejecimiento acelerado, la senescencia celular y el daño causado por los radicales libres, estimulando la producción de colágeno y elastina.

Importantísimo: una simple gota en cada zona es suficiente.

2.RMI⁵V6.1 Body extract. It is the first product that I use after the shower. It is an oily concentrated serum which is absorbed immediately and finishes up dry and glowing, for your arms, chest, tummy, thighs, and legs. It is formulated with high-tech active ingredients that work in depth against the factors which cause physiological and metabolic ageing, whose synergy guarantees 5 actions of the RMI⁵ treatment (longevity and recharging the cellular energy, the activation of proteins, the consolidation of the tissue and environmental defense). It combats dehydration, sagging and stretch marks, accelerated photo-aging, the cellular senescence and free radical damage, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin.

Very important: only one drop for each area is enough.
3. RMI⁵V7.1 Body cream Tune It. Mi crema corporal con función anti-edad, protectora, humectante, nutritiva y regenerante. Además, repara y refuerza la barrera hidrolipídica. Contiene anti-oxidantes, aminoácidos, proteínas, vitaminas y minerales.

¡Ojo! Sepai nos da la opción de combinar la crema base más 3 viales como máximo, con funciones específicas de la línea Sepai Tune It For Body, transformando el producto en un tratamiento personalizado según nuestras necesidades. Yo elegí los siguientes extractos.

3. RMI⁵V7.1 Body cream Tune It. My body cream with anti-aging, protective, moisturising, nourishing and regenerating functions. In addition, it repairs and strengthens the hydrolipidic barrier. It contains anti-oxidants, amino acids, proteins, vitamins and minerals.

Watch out! Sepai gives us the option of combining the cream base plus up to 3 vials, with the specific functions of the Sepai line Tune It For Body, transforming the product into a treatment that is personalised according to our needs. I chose the following extracts.
3.1 Tune It For Body V6.4 Firming. Es una solución reafirmante cutánea en 3 dimensiones. Redensifica el tejido epidemial creando una película natural compactante y reafirmante que, unida a la fórmula V6.1, trabaja para optimizar las funciones y mecanismos de la piel, aumentando la producción de proteínas, la longevidad celular, el metabolismo celular y la defensa medioambiental. Aumenta los niveles de producción de colágeno, elastina, integrina y laminina (nivel profundo).

3.1 Tune It For Body V6.4 Firming. It is a skin firming solution in 3 dimensions. It redensifies the epidermal tissue creating a compacting, firming natural film which, together with the V6.1 formula, works to optimise the functions and mechanisms of the skin, increasing the production of proteins, cellular longevity, cellular metabolism and environmental defense. It increases the levels of production of collagen, elastin, integrin and laminin (deep level).
3.2 Tune It For Body V6.5 Lifting. Es una matriz hidrocoloide tridimensional de galactomananos, que libera oligosacáridos obtenidos de la raíz de achicoria. Sobre la piel forma una película continua que permite un efecto lifting inmediato y prolongado por la liberación y posterior absorción de los oligosacáridos. El producto tiene acción dual ya que incrementa la síntesis de colágeno. La descripción es muy técnica, lo sé, pero no quería restarle nada.

3.2 Tune It For Body V6.5 Lifting. It is a three-dimensional hydrocolloid matrix of galactomannans that releases the oligosaccharides that it gets from chicory root. On the skin it forms a continuous film that gives an immediate and prolonged lifting effect via the release and subsequent absorption of oligosaccharides. The product has a dual action because it increases collagen synthesis. The description is very technical, I know, but I didn't want to subtract anything.
3.3 Tune It For Body V6.6 Elasticity. El último extracto. Es un tetrapéptido inhibidor de la actividad de la elastasa (encima degradadora de la elastina). Optimiza la calidad de la elastina de la piel y estimula la síntesis de colágeno, aumentando la elasticidad y firmeza de la piel.

Importante: siempre debemos introducir el contenido del vial en la crema corporal, jamás aplicarlo puro directamente sobre la piel.

3.3 Tune It For Body V6.6 Elasticity. The last extract. It is a tetrapeptide inhibitor of elastase activity (on top of the breakdown of elastin). It optimises the quality of elastin in the skin and it stimulates the synthesis of collagen, increasing elasticity and firmness of the skin.

Important: we must always add the contents of the vial to the body lotion, and never apply it undiluted directly onto the skin.
Resumiendo: son productos honestos y, para mí, ultra eficientes.

In short: they are honest products and, for me, ultra efficient.

Aprender a reírse de uno mismo y tomarnos la vida con un poco de sentido del humor debería ser materia incluida en los temarios escolares. En los tiempos que corren y con la que está cayendo, la realidad a veces resulta perturbadora.

Entre tanta falta de coherencia, la firma italiana "MY T-SHIRT" lanza una línea de camisetas que ilustran y parodian el mundo de la moda bajo el nombre de "life is a circus", la vida es un circo. Juegos de palabras e imágenes divertidas de diseñadores, modelos, cantantes, actores, etc., protagonizan sus grafismos.

¿La mía? Amable y positiva, 'Je t'aime, JEAN PAUL'. Él es la esencia de la creatividad y el sentido del humor.
